xMerge Housing is an initial print stream system that captures outbound data and applies variable data processing. xMergeHousing has native support for most of the common housing applications including Orchard's arcHouse, Anite and Universal Housing, etc. The system controls the print stream which sends the information to Printers, Fax Systems, SMS, Email, or Webpages or to an archive database. xMerge is a Danish product and has been on the market for over 6 years. It is used by various government organisations and in the private sector including Hewlet Packard in Scandinavia.

xMerge Housing is a version of the product that is especially designed for Social Housing in mind.

xMergeHousing has a built-in distribution function that enables one print job to be distributed to multiple printers, allowing use of each printer's features and functions and printer drivers have the ability to send to printers in the LAN, WAN or Internet using technology such as TCP/IP. This allows you to send or receive jobs locally or anywhere in the organisation around different sites.

xMerge Housing can send to a Windows or Unix printer drivers at the maximium speed of each spooler. xMerge Housing sends a complete print job to the destination device giving our users total flexibility and optimum reliability; while maintaining high speed.

Built-in key features:

Rent Statements: The system can merge data from arcHouse and can also query additional information from arcHouse to each statement.

Job Tickets: Ability to merge job details from arcHouse and produce job tickets, with additional information that can be queried from the Progress SQL92 database or any additional database, and can then be sent to any fax machine, e-mail, print queue,or any document or HTML.

Arrears letters: Production of arrears letters with data that can be queried from different systems and databases, and can also include any adhoc information including court dates etc.

Information can then be automatically loaded back into arcHouse as action codes using dataloaders, or stored in the xMergeHousing database. (Arrears letters module is needed for this storage feature).

BULK Rent Statements: The system can merge documents and data for bulk statements and sort the statements by the Royal Mail postcode sorting system to take advantage of bulk mailing discounts. The system can also query additional information from arcHouse to each statement or add any information based on the fields in the statement itself (for example if the customer is in arrears, etc.) (Bulk Sort module is needed for this feature).

Additional Reports: The system can create any addtional housing reports or documents that can be queried direct from the Progress SQL92 database or from datafiles.

Document Handling: Can create PDF or HTML documents from all letters, reports and statements. It can also convert to several other documents as Microsoft Word, Excel etc. (Document Conversion module is needed for this feature). User Control: A prompt feature is available using templates for each print job.
